Today is November 9, 2023. On this day in 1960, Senator John F. Kennedy won the election for the president of the United States. He was the youngest elected president, the first Catholic president, and the first president born in the 20th century. He inspired millions of Americans with his vision of a new frontier and his call to service: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”. He faced many challenges at home and abroad, but he never gave up on his ideals and his courage. He was a leader who made America strong.
